Ready to Believe: Anderson Relief Fund

Twenty-two-year-old Petra Anderson was shot and critically injured during the shooting at The Dark Knight Rises premiere in Aurora, CO, early last Friday, July 20, 2012. In addition to the three shotgun pellets that hit her arm, one pellet went through her nose, rode up the back of her cranium, and hit the back of her skull. A  relief fund has been set up for her recovery here.

House Votes to Repeal Obamacare - Sign the iPledge today

On July 11, 2012, the House of Representatives voted to repeal Obamacare, which was railroaded into law a little over two years ago by a liberal Congress. The Supreme Court surprisingly upheld the law and the U.S. Senate and President Obama continue to stand in the way of a full repeal. Votes matter, and now it is up to we, the peopleto let our voices be heard in November on this issue and others -- like the sanctity of life, marriage, and religious freedom.
This summer both political parties will be holding their respective conventions to offer their agendas to we, the people. Join me in signing the iPledge and send a message to both parties that our votes will only go to those candidates who affirm the Constitution and biblical values.
It is up to we, the people to commit to:
  1. Pray for the nation and the November elections
  2. Prepare by registering and encouraging 2 others to vote
  3. Participate in the election by only voting for candidates who will uphold the Constitution and biblical values.
If you agree, sign the pledge and encourage as many as your friends and family to take the pledge!

Arizona Pastor Arrested, Jailed for Holding Bible Study in Home; His Wife Says It ‘Defies Logic’ | Fox News Insider

What happened to our 1st ammendment rights? If this really is just about people being able to safely exit a building as the prosecutor says then won't every party and gathering require a permit? But of course thats not the case. Its about religious persecution.

Protect 4th Amendment Rights Online!

The House and Senate are currently considering legislation to protect your Fourth Amendment rights by reforming the Electronic Communications Privacy Act (ECPA) to make it more relevant to today’s technologies.
The ECPA Amendments Act (S.1011) would protect your private information stored remotely or in the “cloud” (such as web-based email) from unreasonable search and seizure. Additionally, the Geolocational Privacy and Surveillance Act (S. 1212/H.R. 2168) requires law enforcement agencies to acquire a warrant to track the location of citizens through their cell phones or GPS devices. Contact your federal lawmakers today and tell them to support these critically important bills!

Generation Joshua iGovern Pacific

I had the privilege of being on staff at GenJ iGovern camp part of last week from Thursday through Saturday. So I've also been off the bike for four days! (Always feels like forever when it's more than two days) but it was worth it.
This isn't a full post, it'll come soon. Just wanna make a teaser kinda. I love camp. Both as a camper, and now as a counselor. Still, the kids minister to me as much as we do to them. This week was no exception. It reminded us to be thankful for everything, not take anything for granted.
Chapels were awesome, food great, we ate like royalty! I got to meet my congressman Ed Royce!
More to come later.
